Electric vehicles are all the new rage now, and a lot of efforts are being made for developing new technologies for EVs so that they would be adopted by the public.

Here is an example of the same – a new electric vehicle, an SUV, developed in China has made headlines – it runs a whopping 700 km on a single charge!

Read on to find out more about this new Chinese EV and its fine capabilities!

This new SUV, which is also known as AVATR E11, claims to go from 0 to 100 kmph in only four seconds. The car has been developed by Avatar Technology, a joint venture of three companies, viz., Huawei, CATL, and Changen Automobiles and is the first high-end pure all-electric vehicle developed by the joint venture.

The car comes with split LED headlights and the front fascia gets a minimalistic approach. On the side, the car has done away with sharp creases that help the EV with better aerodynamic efficiency, and it gets a smooth design instead.

The car also has hidden body integrated door handles and sleek LED taillights. The wheels on the car are large and give it a sporty look. The length of the car is 4.8 meters.

As per reports, the EV has been launched in the Chinese market at 300,000 Yuan which is around Rs. 35 lakh in the Indian market. Mass production and delivery of the AVATR E11 will begin by the third quarter of next year.

Additionally, the JV has announced that it will be launching a large range of all-electric vehicles in various body styles.

Along with the  AVATR E11, other SUVs and MPVs are also set to be launched over the next three years in the upcoming Chinese electric car market.

We recently reported to you that Triton EV has now showcased its Model H electric SUV in Hyderabad in Telangana, the first ever car model from the company. The US-based EV manufacturer Triton EV has recently announced its plans to set up a facility in India.

Additionally, Odisha state government will waive off motor vehicles tax and registration fees for those who have purchased battery-operated or electric vehicles (EVs).
