New Delhi: The makers of Brahmastra released the motion poster of the film with Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt at a live fan event in New Delhi on Wednesday.
The film is set in contemporary and India Ranbir Kapoor plays the protagonist Shiva who sets on a journey to protect the universe from Brahmastra which has awakened and threatens to destroy the universe Alia Bhatt plays the role of Shiva’s love interest in the film.
The first instalment of the superhero trilogy, helmed by director Ayan Mukerji and backed by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions, has an ensemble cast of Amitabh Bachchan, Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Mouni Roy, Dimple Kapadia and Nagarjuna. The film is set to hit the screens on September 9, 2022.
