Clean Tech Early College offering information night – The Saratogian

MALTA, N.Y. — The Clean Technologies & Sustainable Industries Early College High School (CleanTech ECHS) is offering another information night for current 8th graders and their families on March 9 at 6 pm at Hudson Valley Community College’s TEC-SMART facility.
Students, families and school personnel are invited to learn about the program that helps students from throughout the Greater Capital Region cultivate college and career readiness skills. The program develops and supports pathways to higher education leading to careers in STEM-related fields. High school students enrolled in the program will pursue college coursework in one of the following pathways: Clean Energy, Community Health Navigation, Cybersecurity, Engineering Sciences, Entrepreneurship, Polysomnography, or Surgical Technologies.
Prospective students and families will learn about the Clean Technologies & Sustainable Industries Early College High School – A NYS Pathways in Technology Early College High School (P-TECH) Program from current students and teachers. This program offers students an opportunity to learn through problem based learning, work with mentors, and pursue college coursework towards an Associate’s Degree at no cost to students or families.
