Apple extended the media invites for a special event on March 8. It will be an online-only event and streamed from Apple Park, Cupertino. The invite comes with the tagline “Peek Performance.” It is expected that Apple will unveil the all-new affordable iPhone SE (2022) at the event.

Expanding its gaming laptop lineup, Lenovo has launched a new gaming laptop — Legion Slim 7 — in India. The company claims that Legion Slim 7 is one of the world’s slimmest gaming laptops to date.

The laptop weighs less than 2 kilograms and in terms of features, the laptop offers AMD Ryzen 7 5800 processor, Nvidia GeForce RTX 360 graphics card and comes with Windows 11 operating system pre-installed.

Asus has launched a new affordable 2-in-1 device with detachable keyboard. Dubbed as Vivobook 13 Slate OLED, it comes with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage. The convertible device runs Windows 11 operating system and is powered by Intel Pentium Silver N6000 processors. The laptop comes with a detachable keyboard and support for the new Asus Pen 2.0 stylus, which has 4036 pressure levels.

Fitbit recalled more than a million of its Ionic smartwatch models due a burn hazard caused by the batteries overheating. According to the US Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), Fitbit has received at least 115 reports from US customers of its Ionic Smartwatch overheating. Of the total incidents reported, 78 have included reports of burn injuries.

As per the Rule 4(1)(d) of the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021, instant messaging platform WhatsApp has banned 1,858,000 accounts. The company has officially published this in its monthly report which captures information for the period from January 1, 2022 to 31 January 2022.

Sony WHXB910N wireless headphones are now official in India. Sony has expanded its product lineup with the launch of Sony WH-XB910N noise-cancelling headphones. The Bluetooth headphones come with active noise cancellation functionality and they are part of the company’s Extra Bass range. Alphabet Inc’s Google confirmed it has temporarily disabled for Ukraine some Google Maps tools which provide live information about traffic conditions and how busy different places are.
The company said it had taken the action of globally disabling the Google Maps traffic layer and live information on how busy places like stores and restaurants are in Ukraine for the safety of local communities in the country, after consulting with sources including regional authorities.
