Firefox has launched the Gravel range of bikes in India with its Pirate 3.0 and Pirate 4.0 bikes. According to Firefox, these bikes are designed to take the user through rough terrains and explore the unexplored.
Moreover, these bikes come with features that aid the rider. Some of the most notable features in the new Firefox Gravel range of bikes include disc brakes, wider clearance and grip, and Out-front steering geometry.
Among these features, the Out-front steering geometry gives the rider comfort during long runs and at the same time, it gives the rider enough forward stance to be more aerodynamic and achieve greater speeds without sacrificing the overall stability of the bike. This gives the Firefox Gravel bikes to strike a perfect balance between comfort, speed, and agility.
Apart from that, the wider gravel tyres provide better traction and more stability while riding on loose and low traction surfaces such as gravel roads, and dirt roads that are more common during trail runs.
To give more flexibility to riders, the new Firefox Gravel bikes also come with more clearance for the user to fit tyres up to 42c. This gives riders more traction and stability in almost all conditions.
In addition to these, the Firefox Gravel bikes also come with a unique tyre tread design with Low profile knobs that reduce the rolling resistance while the knob edges provide plenty of grip and braking control.
The Gravel bikes from Firefox also come with a wide-ranging 11-32 cassette with the chain set 50/34, which results in an interesting yet practical gearing choice for an urban-focused bike and this setup is also well suited to riding almost any technical terrain.

Moreover, the user can also choose between a straight handlebar and a drop handlebar for their Firefox Gravel bike.
Firefox claims their new range of Gravel bikes offer more durability than a standard road bike and come with faster performance than a mountain bike. Apart from that, the newly launched Firefox Gravel bike range starts from Rs 37,000.

The Firefox Gravel range starts from Rs 37,900, and at this price point, the Gravel bikes offer a unique proposition as the bikes are designed to tackle rough terrains as well as crack a whip on smooth tracks.
