India is a Joke – It’s a scam, here is why:

In 2018, a massive 2.7 billion dollars were lost to scams done via internet. for perspective, That’s more than the entire GDP of Bhutan. Scams come in all forms. There is multi-level marketing, Tech support scam, religious babas but there is one unusual scam that is still running since 400 years.  but first, what is a scam?

Cambridge University defines a scam as

a dishonest scheme, a fraud, esp. one for making money

Money (animation)-In the year 1600 East India Company was established and went on to do business in South East Asia, Pretty soon, the company seized control of large parts of the Indian subcontinent, and started colonising it. as it grew, the company formulated laws, jailed people, did policing work and all other things any government supposed to d, except – you guessed it – welfare. They made wars, pillaged monuments, caused famine, and stole all the wealth they could in the shortest possible amount of time. Because that their was their goal – remember the scam has only one goal – They were there to make money.

After more than 250 years, as it happens with all dictatorships, people and kings rose up  fought the first war of independence. As the fate had it, British fought, killed, tortured and murdered everyone they could and finally won the war. But the Queen in England had other plans – All the areas under the company rule were now transferred to Queen and the queen became the Empress of India.  And thus “British Raj” was born. The area became unofficially known as “Indian Empire”, and officially “India” this was version 2.0 of the same scam. The scam continued because the same people were now officially appointed as “government of India” by the queen with “Government of India Act 1833″. So after a long struggles, a 100 years later, after an intense series of struggles against the so called ” government of India”, (in 1919) they allowed indians to participate in the so called “government” a hundred years later.

So when finally British have had enough share of problems with indians demanding freedon, when they started to bear loss, they decided its time to get out from so called “India”.. so what did they do? well, they passed “Indian Independence Act, 1947. Which led to creation of current “India” as of 2022.

Now if you think this whole story of “government of India scam” up to 1947 ended then  and there, well, you are wrong. Because there was still money to be made. Hence, some new people sent by British replaced the old ones and the people and parties which were earlier “allowed” in the British raj were now themselves in full power.

The “India” scam continued but now the players had changed so methods too had to change. One thing has not changed. that they were here to make money. so now, the government project tendering and tax became the new method. To get the tax money you need people to believe in the idea of India.

That, my friend was the brief history of a continuous British scam – parts of which are still preserved in the Great Museum of Theft in in England (Photo of British museum)

For British, the name “India” implied whatever land they ruled in in south east of asia. But there was a problem – India has no common language, no common food, no common religion,  no common race, and even the color of skin and facial features of its people varied in different parts of the land.  So now the new leaders needed to forge an identity to keep all of them together. Because If they divided and made their smaller countries based on real identities, how would they make money? so they came up with a brilliant idea –  the catch phrase – “Unity in diversity” – which has been a branding statement since the time british left.

But the same has taken new form and let’s see how modern indian scam works:

  1. Rather than being a cohesive country of some people, India is a country made on the baseless premises. Without a common lineage, culture, race, geography or language, Usage of catch phrase “Unity in diversity” is indispensable. This gives the people a perceived identity and make them proud of it. This is the reason why despite nominal development and representation of north-eastern parts of India in the Indian parliament, despite active separatist movements in north-eastern part of India, a school boy in new delhi will still be proud of his perceived national identity.
  2. Which brings me to second premise that “there is nothing beyond national identity”. It has been 70 years and billions of dollars of taxes have been collected from the people of India. Despite it being one of the richest country in terms of natural resources, agriculture and human resources the Indian people live in cramped up cities, with all the wealth in the hands of cronies and government officials. India has one of the lowest GDP per capita in the world, some of the worlds worst infrastructure. So all the taxes, wealth and prosperity flowing toward the “replacement people”.
  3. But Bro, I have seen “India is Incredible!”, there are so many touristy places in India – right! that is the third part of the scam – Every scam has a catchline – You see as the current state of affairs is, countries need dollars to run – and India gets its dollars by branding itself in a certain way – “Incredible India!”, “the IT hub” etc are the marketing tactics used to attract dollars – and when people come here, they realize that they have come to a country full of beggars, cheats, and unruly crowd – and ofcourse – the cows.
  4. And cows brings me to another topic – the ideology. India uses the legacy of Mahatma Gandhi to peddle its image worldwide. In fact India actively installs the statues of Mahatma Gandhi all over the world as a project – this is another scam – because at home – even the prime minister of India is a member of an organization that killed Gandhi! Yes you heard that right! believe it or not, the majority of Indians revere the killer of Gandhi as hero rather than Gandhi while any indian, with exception of Muslims, will present themselves as peace-loving Gandhian, and at home they take out rallies in support of such murderer.
  5. Even the name India is not agreed upon. some call it Bharat, some India, some Hindustan. All three of these are not translation but altogether different words with different connotation behind them. For instance “Bharat” was a hindu sage which is entirely different from what India and Hindustan means. As a result of all this, India is still a long-running scam – a fake country still feeding an army built by British and paying taxes to the cronies left by them, and also fighting against made-up threats – like its neighbors. It is still a money-making enterprise that serves those involved in it very well. and that is why I say – India is a joke!
