Japanese carmaker Nissan has launched the Magnite Red Edition SUV in India. Prices for the Nissan Magnite Red Edition start at Rs 7,86,500.

The Nissan Magnite Red Edition is offered in three trim levels all based on the XV variant of the SUV. The Nissan Magnite MT XV Red Edition is priced at Rs 7,86,500. The Magnite Turbo XV Red Edition sports a price tag of Rs 9,24,500 while the top-spec Nissan Magnite Turbo CVT XV Red Edition is the most expensive of the three Red Edition variants at Rs 9,99,900.

Nissan Magnite Red Edition Design & Features
The Nissan Magnite Red Edtion features a few design tweaks that help it stand apart from regular versions of the Magnite. The Nissan Magnite Red Edition sports red highlights on the grille and the cladding for the front bumper, wheel arches and doors. The Nissan Magnite Red Edition also gets a few funky graphics along with tail door garnish and a prominent Red Edition badge.
Step inside the Nissan Magnite Red Edition and you’ll see a few more Red tweaks. These include a red-themed dashboard, and red inserts for the centre console, door side armrest and seat upholstery.
The Nissan Magnite Red Edition comes packed with a host of features including LED daytime running lights and fog lamps and 16-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels on the outside. Inside the SUV, you’ll find features like a 7-inch digital driver’s display, and 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity options. Other options a rear-view camera, LED scuff plate, ambient lighting, wireless phone charger and a PM 2.5 air filter.
The Nissan Magnite Red Edition comes packed with safety features including multiple airbags, ABS with EBD, Vehicle Dynamics Control, Traction Control System, Brake Assist, and Hill Start Assist.
Nissan Magnite Red Edition Specs
The Nissan Magnite Red Edition is powered by a 999cc, three-cylinder petrol engine which is offered in both naturally aspirated and turbocharged guises. In its base non-turbo form, the engine produces 71bhp and 96Nm of torque which is sent to the front wheels via a 5-speed manual gearbox.
The turbocharged version of the engine pushes out 99bhp and 160Nm of peak torque. The turbocharged 1.0-litre engine is offered with either a 5-speed manual transmission or a CVT automatic gearbox.
