Tata Group is all set to launch its super app, the Tata Neu, on April 7. The announcement about the app, which is being advertised during the ongoing IPL, was made by the company via the app’s Google Play Store page. As the name suggests, a super app is one that acts like a dashboard and brings the company’s other apps and services in one place. It is similar to apps by companies like Paytm, Reliance Jio etc where users find multiple services, all in one place. The app is already being internally used by Tata Group employees since the last few months.
“Consume cutting-edge digital content, make payments, manage your finances, plan your next holiday or perhaps just your next meal — there’s lots to explore and experience in the world of Tata Neu,” the company said.
“It’s your one-stop-shop for a seamless shopping and payments experience. Find everything from groceries, to gadgets, to getaways on Tata Neu,” it added.
Tata New: Services offered

Bill payment: The app will let suers track and pay multiple bills, ranging from mobile recharges, electricity to Wi-Fi, all in one place.
Tata Pay UPI: Users will also be able to transfer money directly between bank accounts using Tata Pay UPI.
QR Payments: The app will also cater to those who prefer a quick QR payments at restaurants, hotels etc, instead of digging into their wallet for cash.
Besides that, there will be merchant checkout options that will let users pay across various apps and services using UPI, EMI, Neucoin and more.
The large balance sheet size post-merger will also help HDFC Bank to underwrite larger ticket size loans
